Food for Thought
The Vranich family has benefited from thousands of dollars of support from the city. Meanwhile, it took a series of appeals by local and national organizations that included the National Gallery of Canada, before Vranich agreed to preserve historic sculptures. The city had to take a member of the Vranich family to court to recoup unpaid security costs for bars in Hess Village and a Vranich project hindered traffic on King Street for over two years.
